Using building science technology, Powersmith Home Energy Solutions' specially trained and certified technicians perform a thorough home performance test, analyze the resulting data, and then we implement the residential construction solutions that meet our clients' needs.
We are looking for hard-working and honest people interested in making a positive impact on people's homes and the environment. Candidates must possess an entrepreneurial spirit that thrives in a fast-paced, demanding work setting and be willing to dedicate him/herself to the Powersmith company culture.
Home Energy Specialists are completely responsible for getting our clients from the audit stage to signing on for a home energy efficiency construction project. Secondary responsibilities include developing referrals and doing whatever it takes to ensure the success of the team. An HES goes with our technician to the client's home for an audit, stays in communication with the client, goes back to their home for a closing presentation, and assists the client by facilitating financing opportunities.
We are looking for our third Home Energy Specialist. This position has a support team to assist in bringing in new leads as well as administrative assistance moving the client through the process.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Sales experience
- Willing to work a 60-plus hour work week with weekend audits and presentations
- You must enjoy meeting and relating to new people every day
- Computer literacy
- Must have a bank account so direct deposits can be made bi-weekly
- Superior verbal communications skills
- Must have a valid and CLEAN New York Driver’s License in order to drive a company truck
- Able to pass a criminal background check and provide work references
Ideally, the candidate will have a proven track record demonstrating the ability to consistently close sales. In home sales experience is a plus, but not required. We are looking for a hard worker who believes in our mission, see's the opportunity in residential energy efficiency, and will ultimately be a strong addition to our team and company culture.

Home Energy Specialists report to the Sales Manager.CULTURAL FIT

COMPENSATION
Annual compensation expectation: $50,000.00 to $100,000.00 plus benefits. Compensation is comprised of: a base $30,000.00 plus commission. Benefits include health care as well as 10 days paid vacation, 3 paid sick days, and 6 holidays.TO APPLY
